Auping Tone is a well-filled box spring standing on a strong steel frame. The box itself contains a mesh base with pocket springs on top. The mesh base is made of braided steel wire and is 80% open, which makes the box spring especially well ventilated.
The upholstered mattress lies on top of the box. You can easily turn during the night and enjoy plenty of support while you sleep thanks to the pocket springs in both the box spring and the mattress. A top mattress lies on top of the mattress.
The Auping Tone top mattress is made of perforated natural latex and ensures that you are wonderfully rested when you wake up.
The box spring mattress for Auping Tone is an upholstered mattress, finished with piping.
It is a luxurious mattress that is no less than 20 centimetres high with 5 zones: head, shoulders, lower back, hips, and legs.
The five zones provide support where you need it. That works like this, from head to toe: The zone for your head is nice and firm so your head is well supported. The shoulder zone is suppler so your shoulders can sink into the mattress. This is especially nice when you’re sleeping on your side. The zone for the lower back provides some counterpressure so that your back is well supported when your shoulders are sunk into the mattress. The hip zone provides stability for your hips. The last zone, the one for your legs, is supple because your legs need a little less support than your hips and your head. This way, your spine is in a nice, straight line.
The mattress is available in three firmnesses: soft, medium, and firm.
The headboard for the Auping Tone box spring is soft with clean lines. It’s nice and thick so you can snuggle right up against it. The headboard is upholstered by hand in our factory in Deventer. It is finished with double stitching. The headboard is upholstered all around so you can put Auping Tone in the middle of your room. The headboard is attached to the box spring so that it floats above the ground, making the headboard fit perfectly with the rest of the slender design.
Auping Tone gets its shape by stacking different colour tones from the same colour family on top of each other. The tonal use of colour creates unity and visually binds the parts of the box spring together. Adding colour in combination with fabric and steel makes this box spring a true Auping product.
In our own factory in Deventer we powder coat the frame in your favourite color. Powder coating is a painting process that makes steel wear-resistant and colourful.
