The Kiruna box spring is the most luxurious box spring from Auping. This is distinguished by the stylish appearance and the useage of natural materials. As soon as you lie down, you experience it for yourself.
Colours and material
Steel and fabrics
The steel frame of the Auping Kiruna box spring can be powder coated in 10 different colours: Deep black, Pure white, Cool grey, Warm grey, Sand beige, Pine green, Blush, Night blue, Dusty red and Royal blue. In addition, you can choose from no less than 95 different fabric options. These are divided into 5 substance groups:
- Fabric group A: These are basic fabrics in uni colours with subtle structures. All three fabrics, Grid, Peach and Salt are made of polyester.
- Substance group B are substances with special structures. The fabrics Points, Maze and Dew all have a high cuddliness content. Dew feels like a wonderfully soft velvet.
- In fabric group C you will find two warm, rich and graphic fabrics: Facet and Reflect.
- Fabric group D consists of 3 premium woolen fabrics, all three from the Danish fabric manufacturer Kvadrat: Clara, Remix and Re-wool.
- Fabric group E contains three luxurious and exclusive fabrics. The knitted fabrics Plecto and Sprinkles and the fabric Jaali are beautiful to combine with the other fabrics from the Auping range and give a soothing feeling of luxury in the bedroom.
Headboards
For the Kiruna there are two headboards, in three different heights. All Auping headboards are upholstered by hand in our sewing workshop in Deventer. You can choose from:
- Sami, available in 105 cm height
- Unik: available in 95 cm and 115 cm height

Wake up rested
On the lower part of a box spring, the box, is a box spring mattress. These matching mattresses are supplied as standard with our box springs. On top of that comes a mattress topper. The unique Kiruna mattresses have no less than 7 zones so that your body is perfectly supported and you lie comfortably. The Sami mattress has a sleek finish while the Unik mattress has an extra rich appearance due to graceful handles, piping all around and refined side stitching. In our stores you can receive advice on which box spring mattress supports your body best. All Auping box spring mattresses have been developed with care and ensure a good night's sleep.
Designed with love
The Kiruna is a richly filled box spring: the box contains a mesh base and pocket springs. The Auping mesh base is eighty percent open and therefore the box spring ventilates very well. The pocket springs in both the box spring and the mattress ensure that you can easily turn at night and have good support during your sleep.
